FAQs

  1. Are your soaps natural? Our soaps are comprised of ingredients that are naturally sourced, which means they are nature made and used in their most natural state. They contain no parabens, synthetics, formaldehyde, fillers or man made products.  That is what we refer to as natural however, there is no official industry standard for what is classified as ‘natural’.
  2. Are your soaps vegan? We gladly offer soaps that are considered vegan as they do not contain any animal by products.  Please refer to the ingredients listed for each product for reference.
  3. Do your products contain preservatives? Any product that has a water component (excluding soaps) or will likely be exposed to water must have a preservative.  Water introduces an environment for mold, bacteria and fungus to grow.  That is an absolute ‘No-no!’  Not only is it dangerous, it’s not very appealing.  In order to prevent this from happening and provide a safe, long lasting product, a preservative is an absolute must.  Our preservatives do not contain any parabens or formaldehyde.
  4. Why are your soaps more expensive than those I can purchase in the store? Our soaps are handcrafted in small batches with natural oils/butters, essential oils, and 100% certified pure essential blends.  Most store bought brands are produced in mass, full of cheap fillers, detergents, dyes, perfumes, artificial additives, and preservatives.  We’re confident you will find our pricing in line with other handcrafted soaps.
  5. My bar doesn’t seem to last as long as the one I bought in the store? Most store bought soaps contain ingredients designed to make them last longer however, with proper care, our soaps will last just as long.  Here are a few tips to help you stretch that beautiful bar:
  • Don't let your soap sit in water.
  • Store soap on a well drained soap dish.
  • Allow soap plenty of fresh air to dry between uses.
  • Never place soap where shower water can hit it.
  • If your bar ever gets waterlogged and becomes gooey (it’s the oils), simply set it on a draining soap dish for a few days and let it dry out thoroughly.
  • Cut the bar in half then alternate the halves, which will allow for longer dry time between uses.  This is especially useful for little ones who may have a harder time handling our larger sized bars.
